Providing feed for many furry friends, the acorn has long been a symbol of the harvest, and of the coming of the long winter months. This sculptural yet functional wheel-thrown porcelain box charms with a hand-modeled acorn motif and hand-incised lid, while the the surface features airbrushed, matte glazes fired to maturity in an oxidation kiln. Signed and dated.
