Boat, Love Is In The Air

This wall sculpture holds two hearts in a boat, to represent a life journey as it glides over surging waves and puffy clouds. Hand built from slabs of stoneware clay; the surface has the weathered look of a found object. The carved waves are first painted with slips and the surface dimension is achieved by applying a semi-matte glaze and then wiping the highlights.

Each piece is unique and will vary.
